Poison Clan was an autocratic alliance headquartered in Asia. It was founded December 12th 2013, by the Dark Lord LordNettles. The motto of Poison Clan was "Friends > Infrastructure".

First Poison Clan[]

Poison Clan was first formed on December 5th, 2013 by Unkajo.[1] This first iteration was disbanded on December 10th, 2013 when Unkajo deleted to focus on moderation.[2] Shortly after, former members would recreate the alliance on December 12th, 2013 which would go on to be more well known.

School of the Hard Knocks Accords[]

The first iteration of Poison Clan would sign what appears to be the first ODoAP treaty in PnW, notably before the war mechanic existed, with The Sith Empire on December 8th, 2013.[3]

Article I: Ride Together Die Together[]

Poison Clan and the The Sith Empire come together to sign an Optional Defense, Optional Aggression Pact

Article II: You know where your friends are[]

PC and the TSE agree to always work together as friends by resolving any and all differences amicably as well as ensuring that any information of value to one is shared with the other.

Article III: Hitting one is hitting both[]

PC and the TSE agree that an attack on one is an attack on the other and have the option to aid in fight

Article IV: You never know who is comin’[]

PC and the TSE agree that if either plans aggressive military action to notify the other, at which point they may request assistance. This assistance is encouraged but not mandatory.

Article V: Cancellation[]

If the Poison Clan or The Sith Empire agree that their time together is at an end, they may notify the other party. All aspects of this treaty will be in force for twenty-four hours after cancellation.

Nordreich Merge[]

On January 16th, 2014, almost one month after they signed an MDAP, Nordreich would announce that they were merging into Poison Clan.[6]

FAIL Protectorate[]

On February 6th, 2014, it was announced that Poison Clan would be protecting Federated Allied Independence League.[7]

Preamble[]

In the interests of mutual welfare and security, and to progress friendships between our two societies, the Federated Allied Independence League (hereby alternatively known as the protectorate) agrees to enter into a state of protection under the Poison Clan (hereby alternatively known as the protector).

Article I: Non-Aggression[]

In-game aggression between the members of the Federated Allied Independence League and the Poison Clan is strictly forbidden. In-game includes, but is not limited to: unapproved colour raiding, war declarations, furnishing aid to nations or alliances at war with either signatory alliance, and any form of espionage, whether in-game or otherwise. This article may be overridden by protectorate request, in order to maintain order within their internal structure.

Article II: Communication[]

The Poison Clan and the Federated Allied Independence League recognise their duty to maintain and build upon their current relations. The signatories hereto further agree to refrain from any public criticism of the other signatory or members of the respective signatory alliances.

Article III: Intelligence[]

The Poison Clan and the Federated Allied Independence League agree that, should either party through any means whatsoever come into possession of information concerning the safety or standing of the other they are bound to share it with the other party through private channels at the earliest possible opportunity.

Article IV: Obligations of the Protector[]

The Poison Clan agrees to assist the Federated Allied Independence League's military in preserving the alliance's integrity. In cases of open conflict between The Federated Allied Independence League and a foreign power, the Poison Clan has the right to act as a mediator and to enter into the conflict with force. Cases in which the Federated Allied Independence League enters into a state of aggressive defence of a foreign power nullifies this obligation.

Article V: Obligations of the Protectorate[]

The Federated Allied Independence League hereby recognizes the relationship between their people and that of the Poison Clan, and agrees to abide by all necessary measures as written in Article IV.

The Federated Allied Independence League agrees to consult the Poison Clan government on any foreign affairs issues involving binding treaties and conflict escalation. The Federated Allied Independence League recognizes that the Poison Clan holds veto power over any such action. This veto power is held by an individual or body as determined by Poison Clan law, and is not bound by the conditions of this agreement.

The Federated Allied Independence League agrees to enter into a state of war to defend the Poison Clan if called upon. Cases in which the Poison Clan enters into a state of aggressive defence of a foreign power nullifies this obligation.

Operation Oversight Clause: Upon the activation of either Article IV or Article V defence clauses, the military of the Federated Allied Independence League falls under the direct oversight of the Poison Clan Ministry of Violence. The Federated Allied Independence League is permitted to maintain its own military apparatus, and these officers hereby agree to conform to sanctioned Poison Clan military tactics and operative aims in any event of mutual conflict. All peace negotiations pertaining to the protectorate will be subject to observation and inclusion of a Poison Clan government official, who may be vested with the power to accept or reject an agreement without question.

The Federated Allied Independence League agrees to thoroughly review the practicality of any orders pertaining to economics provided by the Poison Clan government.

Article VI: Treaty Nullification[]

Immediate termination of this treaty occurs when one of its terms are violated. Both parties are encouraged to observe Article II to determine whether a violation has a diplomatic solution.

Downfall of Poison Clan[]

Prior to the great Poison Clan - United Purple Nations War of February 2014, Poison Clan was a mighty, active alliance. This war was a huge loss for Poison Clan, and left many of its member in shambles. Many members went MIA after the disaster and were never seen again.

From then on, Poison Clan was never the same. Although many members had gone AWOL, they pushed on until April 2014, but were ultimately stopped in their tracks by  Vereenidge Oost-Indische Compagnie  (VoC), who was growing more and more powerful.

VoC and its puppet states felt that Poison Clan wasn't a real alliance anymore, and declared them valid targets for raiding. And began the beginning of the end for Poison Clan. VoC started off by raiding inactive members, but then began to attack active members as well.

During the war with VoC, several members of Poison Clan fled to other alliances such as United Purple Nation. This left Poison Clan even weaker. The remaining members of Poison Clan fought on valiantly but were ultimately cut down. Some members, such as Duderonomy and King George, burnt everything in their nations down to stop VoC from looting anything. Several of the final remaining members, including Abshire of acadiana, went rogue on the raiders, punishing their lower-tier and forcing a few to leave or quit. And so Poison Clan died in late April, 2014. "Friends > Infrastructure, RIP in Peace." Goodnight, sweet Poison Clan.
