History[]
Nova Empire was formed on March 20, 2017, after a bloody conflict for its independence. During that day the nation's capital was established on the ruins of Minneapolis. Later, Nova Empire joined the alliance Union of Free Republics. It later joined Ragnarok. A day after being invited to Ragnarok, it established Gold Leaf. One day later, and being accepted after finishing Ragnarok University, Nova Empire was given money. It established Gamma, Alpha, and Area 51. Beta and other cities were established later.
Government[]
The structure of Nova Empire's government is very similar to the United States government, but with key difference:
- President is determined by popular vote, not by the electoral college
- The Federal budget is only set by the president, with approval of Congress
Economy[]
Nova Empire's economy is lead by major commercial industries like retail stores, telecommunication/internet, etc funded by its allies. Its economy is also supported by the nation's steel made my Novian iron and coal. The majority of food is produced in the nation. The government stockpiles resources in case of an emergency.
With the rise of global warming, all cities are powered by power plants fueled by Novian uranium. Additionally, all cities have three recycling plants and one subway to eliminate pollution.
Taxes are high at 42.13% and higher at 78.63% for the wealthy which is used to subsidize public school and fund state colleges and universities, and public healthcare. Unemployment is low but is still an issue in the the country, even with the nation's best welfare programs.
Law[]
Since its inception, the U.S. Constitution has been restored, but was changed under a slightly left-leaning U.S. Government Restoraction Act. The electoral college was abolished due to it being undemocratic. Several laws were passed to make sure that all people of any identity are on an equal playing field.

- All citizens 18 or over must be in the draft or pursue a high-paying job in high demand
- Infant circumcisions, regardless of biological sex, is illegal
- All criminals are rehabilitated
