Overview
Crime is the rate at which citizens are killed by violence. Keeping a low crime rate is very beneficial. In general, Crime rises with increases in Base Population, and falls with increases in Commerce or when Police Stations are purchased.
Formulas
There are two formulas pertaining to the crime rate. One is the formula that equals the crime rate itself, the other is the amount of people killed from the crime rate.
Crime Formulas
The basic Crime Rate is:
- Crime Rate% = ((((103-Commerce)^2)+Base Population)/111111)- Police Modifier
Where the Police Modifier is:
- Police Modifier = (# of Police Stations)*(2.5)
Note: 0≤Crime Rate≤100
Population Lost from Crime
- Population Lost = MAX[(((Crime Rate%/100%)*Base Population)-25),0]
