History[]
13 Year War[]
Following the end of World War II the Imperial Japanese Government attempted to hold control over the people through any means necessary. This led to a great deal of innocent peoples lives being lost to purges as a growing Democratic and Communist influence started in the nation. Eventually the Emperor took direct control of the nation and of the Military removing the Military Commander. This led to the capital and the surrounding area's prospering at the expense of the rest of the nation.
Communist Influence in Eastern Japan soon spread rapidly in the many farming communities and mining communities. The Peoples Revolutionary Party was born and soon after its conception the idealism of Communism spread quickly. The Imperial Government attempted to fortify the central area of the nation and divided the nation in two hoping that the Communist of the Eastern Regions wouldn't begin to coordinate with the Communist of the Western Regions. Despite this attempt the two factions merged and began a united front against the Imperial Army and its fortified cities.
Out gunned and out manufactured the Communist armies pushed hard but routinely fell short of their goals. The Imperial Army used this to its advantage and sent death squads into surrounding area's to make examples of those who aided the Communist armies of the PRP. However this only angered the population and soon the supplies of the Imperial Army would run short.
A special operation took place in which the Communist armies were able to enter a fortified zone and capture the military goods with few losses. With production finally reaching acceptable levels in PRP held territory the Communist armies started to gain more ground and weaken the Imperial Army.
After 13 years the Peoples Revolutionary Party and the Peoples Revolutionary Army took control of the Capital of Tokyo and captured the Emperor and the Imperial Court.
Establishing the Communist Party of Japan[]
After the 13 Year War the Peoples Revolutionary Party now in control of the nation of Japan decided it was time to unify the Eastern and Western Communist groups. This led to the founding of the Communist Party of Japan which would rule over the newly established Peoples Assembly. As part of this the Peoples Revolutionary Army swore allegiance to the first Chairman Shinji Mitsunari and the Peoples Assembly was formed by the former leaders of the different Communist groups and others were elected by their prefecture.
The Communist Party of Japan has been criticized about its almost "monarch" style system when it comes to the leader of the Communist Party which in essence leads the nation. The military obeys the orders of the Chairman before the Peoples Assembly. The Peoples Assembly create all laws for the land of Japan.
